Concerned about the quality of life in Vancouver Kingsway, Don is an active member of our community.

He is Chair of the Parent Advisory Committee of Mount Pleasant Elementary School and a Director of the Meridian Cultural Society, a non-profit group that provides space for daycare, church, and refugee respite services. A member of the Dickens Community Group and the East End Food Co-op, Don also volunteers for Variety - the Children's Charity. In past years, he has been a youth hockey coach and a volunteer for La Quena Cooperative and Co-op Radio.
