Don spoke at a forum, hosted by Libby Davies, on the Security and Prosperity Partnership at
Heritage Hall on Main Street.
Some two hundred people attended in order to learn more about the
executive-level pact between the governments and corporate sectors of Canada, the United
States and Mexico and the negative impact it will have on Canada's ability to adopt independent
and sustainable economic, social, cultural and environmental policies
The other panel members were Peter Julian (MP, Burnaby-New Westminster and NDP International
Trade Critic), Murray Dobbin (Political Commentator and Author) and Douglas Ross (Professor,
Political Science at SFU).
