OTTAWA – On Friday, Canada’s NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has announced new critic portfolios for his NDP caucus. New Democrats will continue fighting for Canadians as food prices, affordable housing and health care concerns as the party prepares for the next federal election.
NDP MP Peter Julian (New Westminster—Burnaby) takes over as critic for health, while Don Davies (Vancouver Kingsway) will step into the role of critic for finance.
The Mega Job Fair, recognized for bridging gaps between employers and potential employees, set a new precedent in fostering community and economic development within the region.
Don Davies, MP for Vancouver-Kingsway, praised the event, highlighting PICS’s instrumental role in community enrichment. “PICS has once again demonstrated its commitment to economic and community growth by successfully connecting aspiring individuals with potential employers,” Davies said, underlining the societal impact of such initiatives.
