Celebrating Seniors Organizations in Kingsway

 

It was wonderful to celebrate the superb community organizations who recently received federal New Horizons grants to help seniors in Vancouver Kingsway.
All six groups will deliver creative, effective and much needed programs to keep our seniors connected and supported.
These include a diverse mix of social, cultural, economic and security projects.
Congratulations to the Filipino Seniors Club of BC, MOSAIC, Seniors Brigade Society of BC, Salvation Army, Renfrew Park Community Centre and Damayan BC.
You are true heroes.

We had a fantastic turnout for the nationwide NDP Day of Action here in Vancouver Kingsway on Saturday, April 6 at the corner of Knight St and 49th Ave.

Joining us for the rally and door knocking was Vancouver South NDP candidate Manoj Bhangu!

Plenty of support for dental care and Pharmacare in the community and its clear that people agree we need to send more NDP MPs like Manoj to Ottawa to accomplish even more for Canadians.

A big thank you to all of our fantastic volunteers!
