Don was joined by Suzie Mah, Vancouver School Board Trustee, and Sherry Stevenson, Executive Director of Fresh Roots Urban Farm at a town hall to discuss the national school nutrition program.

Don has championed a universal National School Nutrition Program so every child in Canada has access to healthy meals at school. Now, with $1 billion committed over five years, we've taken a step forward - but there's more to do.

Don, Suzie and Sherry discussed how we can integrate local food providers, Indigenous food initiatives, and sustainable farm-to-school programs to create a healthier, more resilient food system.

Summer BBQ 2024

We had a fabulous turnout for our 2024 Vancouver Kingsway Community BBQ!

This was our biggest event yet; we served over 2500 hot dogs, watermelon, chips and lemonade.

Special thanks to my staff, our fabulous volunteers and all of our constituents who came together to celebrate our community and connect with neighbours.
